| Dr. Jan Soderstrom is Director of Broadband and Transport research within Ericsson Research. Ericsson Research is the corporate research arm of Ericsson of in total some 500 researchers. Jan heads a group of 70 researchers in four countries focusing on Network architecture and solutions for high bit rate connectivity networks based on fiber, copper and microwave. Currently in rapid expansion.
He took his Ph.D. at Chalmers university of technology in 1990 and later worked for Ericsson Microelectronics where led the optoelectronics business unit until 1999 when he transferred to his current role. |
